As a paid undergraduate researcher in the Human-Oriented Robotics & Control Lab, I work with a team of professors, PhD students, and undergraduate researchers developing robotics technologies focused on dynamics, modeling, control, and human-robot interaction.

My primary work has focused on tactile sensing for quadruped robot environment interaction, including sensor fabrication, embedded systems integration, robot hardware development, and experimental support. I have also contributed to autonomous navigation and control-related development for mobile robot platforms.

Civil Engineering Intern — Veolia North America

At Veolia North America, I worked with a team of engineers focused on water main repair, replacement, and infrastructure improvement projects in Rockland County, New York. This role gave me exposure to civil engineering fieldwork, utility infrastructure, project budgeting, and coordination between engineers, consultants, and contractors.

I also led a research project focused on lead service line identification technology, evaluating how emerging tools could improve service-line verification and reduce unnecessary excavation costs. This included budget analysis, financial projections, and technical research to support more cost-effective infrastructure planning.

At SKAE Power Solutions, I completed three internship experiences supporting engineers on critical systems, data center, and electrical infrastructure projects. I shadowed and assisted engineers on-site at data centers, company properties, and client meetings, gaining exposure to real-world engineering design, documentation, and project execution.

My work included CAD modeling, electrical one-line documentation, system performance analysis, and Method of Procedure reports for complex technical operations. I also researched, analyzed, and presented technical information to clients and lead engineers, helping secure contracts for four NYC properties and supporting the implementation of an observatory and astronomy center at a local college.
